The Blue Fog

Chameleon

After watching social media videos, I suspect that many people in authority—especially police—lack common sense, possibly by design to ensure they remain easily controlled.

The Idiotocracy Has Uniforms Now

Forget IQ tests for law enforcement—apparently, the new qualification is the ability to follow orders with the blind loyalty of a golden retriever and the judgment of a confused houseplant. If aliens were to scroll through Facebook or TikTok to judge our species, they’d assume we put traffic cones in charge of our cities. Watching an officer try to logic their way out of a paper bag is like watching a cat try to play chess: fascinating, tragic, and absolutely devoid of results.

But maybe that’s the secret sauce of control—strip people of critical thinking, dress them in matching uniforms, hand them a badge, and voilà: the perfect foot soldier in the bureaucracy’s dance of dumb. A truly curious officer might question policies. A truly aware one might blow a whistle. But a clueless one? They’ll enforce a law even if it’s a law against thinking. Which, ironically, they’re already obeying flawlessly.
