Record Breaking

705 migrants crossed the English Channel in 12 boats in one day, hitting a yearly record. The user expresses frustration over government inaction and the perceived waste of taxpayer money.

DROWNING IN DENIAL, NOT THE CHANNEL

Oh, now we’re hitting record-breaking numbers, and what does the government do? Slap on a hi-vis jacket of moral confusion and whisper sweet nothings about “border control” while blowing millions on bureaucratic cosplay. They say there’s “no money left,” but somehow there’s always an open tab for border hotels, legal fees, and a floating fleet of rubber welcome mats. Are we seriously supposed to believe this is a surprise? That 705 people just wandered across the Channel like it’s a Sunday paddle?

This is state-sponsored self-sabotage. Either they’re incompetent or complicit, and honestly, I can’t decide which is worse. Because while hardworking taxpayers grind through a cost-of-living crisis, the government manages to burn cash faster than a flamethrower in a hay barn. It’s not even about migration anymore—it’s about the blatant hypocrisy of a system that hemorrhages money while pretending to hold a begging bowl. If that doesn’t enrage you, congratulations: you’ve either got beachfront property in Neverland or you’re already numb from the propaganda drip.
