In the latest episode of “Global Stability: Who Needs It?”, Russia has fired another missile into Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, killing one and injuring 54. As civilians bleed and buildings crumble, the world’s alleged leaders… tweet. Meanwhile, somewhere in the multiverse, Donald Duck is doing a better job at international diplomacy than Donald Trump. And no, that’s not a typo—it’s a tragedy with feathers.

Feathers Over Fools: When a Cartoon Duck Has More Gravitas Than a Former President

Let’s set the stage. On one side, a brutal missile strike reducing lives and homes to headlines. On the other, a man who once suggested nuking hurricanes and stared directly into a solar eclipse. One of them can’t form coherent sentences, often explodes in fits of rage, and is mostly incoherent. The other is Donald Duck—and he still might’ve handled this crisis better.

You see, while the world cries out for leadership with empathy, strategy, and even a basic grasp of geography, what we often get is word salad garnished with ego dressing. Trump once called Putin “smart,” because sure, nothing screams “peace advocate” like complimenting the guy bombing hospitals.
