Let’s set the stage. On one side, a brutal missile strike reducing lives and homes to headlines. On the other, a man who once suggested nuking hurricanes and stared directly into a solar eclipse. One of them can’t form coherent sentences, often explodes in fits of rage, and is mostly incoherent. The other is Donald Duck—and he still might’ve handled this crisis better.

You see, while the world cries out for leadership with empathy, strategy, and even a basic grasp of geography, what we often get is word salad garnished with ego dressing. Trump once called Putin “smart,” because sure, nothing screams “peace advocate” like complimenting the guy bombing hospitals.
