🕊️📄❌The United Nations, that grand hall of speeches and photocalls, has declared Israel’s actions against Palestinians amount to genocide. And then—true to form—did absolutely nothing about it. No sanctions, no peacekeeping forces, no concrete steps. Just another statement destined to collect dust in the archives while bombs continue to fall and children continue to die.

🏛️ When Condemnation Becomes a Routine

It’s a bizarre spectacle: an institution created to prevent atrocities now serves as their official narrator. The UN pumps out words with the regularity of a factory assembly line—“grave concern,” “deeply troubled,” “genocide”—but those words never seem to grow legs. The gap between rhetoric and reality is wide enough to drive an armored convoy through.

For Palestinians, it’s not a debate over semantics. It’s survival. But in New York, diplomats shrug, shuffle their papers, and adjourn for lunch. 🍽️

🌍 The Global Shrug

The tragedy is amplified by the chorus of governments picking sides like it’s a football match, while the UN plays referee without a whistle. The Security Council is locked in stalemate (again), vetoes fly, and civilians pay the price. So much for “Never Again”—turns out it had an expiration date.

The UN’s message is clear: they’ll write your eulogy, but don’t expect them to intervene while you’re still alive.

🔥 Challenges 🔥

Why do we still treat UN statements as meaningful when they’re nothing more than diplomatic wallpaper? Is the institution broken beyond repair, or was it always destined to be a powerless talk shop?
