The Europeans, apparently allergic to self-reliance, keep queueing up with open wallets, buying tanks, missiles, and promises of “freedom” stamped Made in the USA.

Here’s the bitter comedy: Europe loves to talk about “strategic autonomy,” but when the shooting starts, they dial Uncle Sam like scared teenagers phoning dad to fix the boiler. For decades, America has been Europe’s security babysitter—feeding, burping, and defending while European leaders promise they’ll grow up next year. Ukraine has now exposed the awkward truth: Europe doesn’t just rely on the U.S.—it’s addicted.

Trump, ever the salesman, sees opportunity. Why preach peace when you can invoice for war? The man who once flirted with NATO withdrawal is now making NATO clients cough up cash for protection like it’s a mob racket. Except in this racket, the “stupid Europeans” pay willingly, smiling as they sign the credit card slip.
