🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷When it comes to pension reform, the world’s great democracies have three very different strategies: America shrugs and keeps working until their obituary doubles as a resignation letter, Britain politely sips lukewarm tea and mutters “well, suppose we must,” while France? France sets the streets on fire and makes barricades out of garbage.

🔥🇫🇷 France: The Land of Glorious Tantrums

France doesn’t do “quiet acceptance.” Tell them to work two more years, and suddenly Paris looks like a deleted scene from Les Misérables. Banners fly, fists rise, and Macron is left dodging political molotovs while pretending nothing’s wrong. Retirement isn’t just policy in France—it’s sacred, and they’ll torch half the city before letting anyone touch it.

🫖🇬🇧 Britain: The Polite Funeral of Resistance

Meanwhile, in Britain, the government announces higher pension ages and the nation reacts with all the energy of a soggy digestive biscuit. “Keep Calm and Work Until You Die” might as well be printed on mugs next to the Union Jack. Protests? Too much hassle. Stiff upper lips don’t leave room for shouting. Besides, the queue for the bus is already long enough.

💼🇺🇸 America: Work, Work, Die

And then there’s America, where retirement is more myth than milestone. Most workers aren’t planning for golden years; they’re planning for golden urns. The idea of striking for pensions is laughable in a land where healthcare alone costs the equivalent of a second mortgage. The average American doesn’t rebel against pension age hikes—they just assume they’ll be buried in their work uniform, with their boss asking if they can cover one last shift.

🔥 Challenges 🔥

So here’s the million-dollar question: which camp are you in—fiery rebellion, polite surrender, or eternal employment? Could France’s fury spread, or are we all just too tired (and broke) to care? 💬⚡
