💸🕳️The Ministry of Defence has apparently decided to dabble in astrophysics — specifically, the study of how to make £2 billion vanish without trace. The Army, Navy, and RAF have now been asked to “suggest cuts,” which is political speak for choose your own amputation. Meanwhile, the rest of us are left wondering whether the UK’s defence strategy now includes a giant interdimensional sinkhole under Whitehall.

🚀 When Black Holes Meet Budget Holes

You’d think black holes were a cosmic phenomenon — vast, invisible forces that suck in light, time, and occasionally common sense. But no. It turns out they also exist in government spreadsheets. 💼✨

Every year, the MoD somehow spends more on less. We’re buying tanks that can’t tank, planes that can’t fly, and ships that float mostly on excuses. The potholes on Britain’s roads are multiplying faster than defence contracts, and if you squint hard enough, they do look like mini black holes — perhaps portals directly connected to the Treasury.

For every hundred potholes, one evolves into a fully fledged budget singularity, devouring both taxpayer funds and accountability. Somewhere deep inside this fiscal void, a general is still waiting for a working aircraft carrier and a functioning spreadsheet.

Maybe we should start patching roads with MoD balance sheets — they’re already full of holes and cost the same as tarmac. 🛣️💥
