In a plot twist no one finds remotely surprising, Prince Andrew has once again ghosted accountability—this time by snubbing a formal request from the US Congress to testify on the Epstein scandal. Because nothing says “I’ve got nothing to hide” like refusing to show up when lawmakers call.
🕳️ The Duke of Disappearing Acts Does It Again
Despite a summons from across the pond, Andrew has apparently responded with his usual PR strategy:
❄️ “Total silence, followed by hoping everyone forgets.”
He’s not technically a royal anymore, but he’s clinging to that privilege like it’s a Pizza Express alibi. The man won’t even answer a phone call from Congress, yet he expects the public to buy the idea that he’s innocent, informed, and simply misunderstood. Come off it. This isn’t The Crown. It’s a slow-motion car crash with a tiara.
You’d think after that BBC interview (you know the one—Sweatgate), he’d jump at the chance to clear his name. But no. Andrew’s new royal role seems to be “The Duke of No Comment.” And he’s playing it to perfection.
Congress isn’t asking him to solve world peace. They just want answers. But apparently, testifying about your ties to a serial abuser is too much of an inconvenience—especially when there’s polo to not attend and public duties to definitely not perform.
