ย ๐ญโ๏ธTwo undocumented migrants, convicted of sexually assaulting a young girl, are about to be sentencedโbut not even the court knows how old they really are.
On 8 December 2025, the court handed down these sentences:
- Jahanzeb โ 10 years, 8 months (reported as a youth despite zero proof of age)
- Niazal โ 9 years, 10 months (also โa youth,โ according toโฆ himself)
- Both are now on the sex offenders register for life
- Deportation orders issued or recommended
The sentences reflect the horrific nature of the crime. But letโs not ignore the elephant in the courtroom: nobody verified their ages. No IDs. No records. Just a bold-faced โIโm 17, trust me.โ
And somehow, that was enough.
๐ฏ Justice by Eyeball: โIf He Looks 16, He Is 16!โ
Thereโs a reason youth sentencing existsโbecause teenagers arenโt legally, developmentally, or ethically on the same footing as adults. But when the system starts treating a full-grown man with stubble and a LinkedIn profile as a child because he says so, weโve stopped doing justice and started doing improv.
No proof of age? No problem! Just throw them into the youth offender system where the sentences are lighter, the conditions softer, andโoh yesโtheyโll be housed alongside real teenagers. ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐
This isnโt just a loophole. Itโs a gaping chasm of risk, where:
- ๐ฏ Adult offenders potentially serve time in facilities designed for vulnerable youths
- ๐ฏ Lighter sentencing is handed down based on nothing more than hearsay
- ๐ฏ Public faith in justice plummets faster than a trust fund influencerโs apology video
Letโs get one thing straight: this isnโt an attack on migrants or asylum seekers. This is about basic safeguarding and equal accountability. We check IDs to buy scratch cardsโbut not when someoneโs convicted of a sex crime?

Hereโs whatโs really happening: theyโre playing the system, and playing it well.
Claiming youth status means:
- โ๏ธ Shorter sentences
- ๐๏ธ Safer conditions
- ๐ซ Avoiding adult prisons
- ๐คน๐ฝ The sympathy card, automatically pulled from the juvenile justice deck
And why wouldnโt they? If telling a convenient lie gets you cushier time with less danger, youโd have to be dumber than the age you claim not to take that deal.
But while they play innocent, itโs the actual minors inside those facilities whoโll pay the price. Vulnerable kids now risk being locked up with predators old enough to rent a car. Thatโs not โsoft justiceโโthatโs state-sanctioned roulette. ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ
Whatโs your take? Is this criminal strategy or bureaucratic failureโor both? Should courts be allowed to hand out โyouth sentencesโ with nothing but guesswork? What if your child shared a cell with one of these โmaybe minorsโ?
