As Westminster fumbles every ball like it’s a national sport, isn’t it time Scotland stared down the chaos and finally asked: Do we actually want to be dragged down with this mess?

🏴‍☠️ Union Jacked: Time to Cut the Cord or Keep Getting Burned?

Let’s call it: the UK government is in a state of catastrophic free-fall. Public services? Gutted. Economy? Shredded. Trust? Evaporated. And through all this, Scotland’s supposed to just smile, nod, and keep footing the bill while waving a tiny Union Jack like it’s still 1952.

“Now’s not the time,” they say.

“We’re stronger together,” they say.

Oh really? Because from up here, “together” looks a lot like being handcuffed to a sinking ship captained by clowns in red ties.

Scotland’s been patient. Too patient. We’ve had enough of pretending devolution is some magical fix-all. It’s a leaky plaster over a gaping constitutional wound. And while Westminster blunders from scandal to scandal, Scotland’s supposed to politely queue for its turn at self-respect?

Murphy’s point stands like a Highland cairn: Courage is required. Not performative bravery. Not flag-waving posturing. But real, inconvenient, politically messy courage. The kind that asks uncomfortable questions and doesn’t flinch at ugly truths—like the one where staying in the Union means being ruled by governments we didn’t vote for with priorities we didn’t agree to.

Scotland doesn’t need permission to be fed up. It needs the backbone to act on it. The only thing more dangerous than facing the truth… is ignoring it until there’s nothing left to save. 🏴🔥

Do you feel it too? That gnawing sense that we’ve reached the end of the polite waiting game? Let it out. Is Scotland ready to take the wheel—or are we still hoping Westminster won’t drive us off a cliff this time?
