🎤🔥🧼If ever there was a time to wheel out Ricky Gervais with a mic and a two-drink minimum, this is it. Between politicians who think they’re pop stars and pop stars who think they’re political theorists, we need someone to drop the mic on all of them—preferably in front of a live studio audience.

🎯 Let Ricky Host Everything (Including Parliament)

Grammys, Oscars, G7 summits, party conferences, even the next royal wedding—give Ricky the opening monologue.

Why? Because he’s the only one in the room who doesn’t need the approval of a corporate sponsor, a political donor, or a TikTok following.

He told Hollywood elites they were pampered hypocrites while they clutched their gold trophies like stress balls.

Now imagine him saying to MPs:

“You flew first class to lecture people about poverty? Brilliant. I’m sure the carbon credits offset your shame.”

“You think uploading a TikTok about voting rights makes you Churchill? Sit down, Beyoncé of the Backbenches.”

And let’s be honest—half the political speeches these days already sound like awkward Grammy acceptance speeches:

“I want to thank my advisor, my comms team, and that one constituent who tweeted something nice at me in 2019.” 🎻

Ricky wouldn’t just cut through the noise. He’d set fire to the autocues, replace the press team with sarcasm, and have every politician asking themselves:

“Is my speech roast-proof?”

(Bonus: most would quietly decide not to speak.)

⚡️ Challenges ⚡️

Do you miss the days when someone actually called out the sanctimonious waffle live on air? Think Ricky should be mandatory viewing at every overhyped public event? Sound off in the blog comments—no PR filters, no handlers, just fury and fun. 🎙️🧠
