The British people deserve clarity. Let us state this with no hesitation: the recent rise in measles and chickenpox cases cannot and must not be blamed on immigration.

There is no evidence whatsoever that new arrivals from countries with weaker vaccination programmes are responsible for these outbreaks. Anyone making this claim is deliberately misleading the public.

❌ Immigration Is Not the Cause

Suggestions that “millions of migrants” are entering the United Kingdom unvaccinated and then failing to receive vaccinations here are false. This is a dangerous narrative that fuels division and distracts from the truth.

The Government would never allow uncontrolled entry of individuals without health checks. Migrants are given access to the NHS, including vaccination schemes, to ensure the safety of both them and the wider population.

🦠 The Real Reasons for Rising Cases

The increase in measles and chickenpox cases is homegrown, not imported. The reasons are clear:

• Vaccination uptake within some British communities has fallen.

It’s the British people and who are failing to get doctor’s appointments quick enough,  migrants have direct access to these people, you see. 

• Persistent misinformation about vaccines has undermined confidence.

The British people are too busy listening to people with tin hats. 

• Years of pressure and underfunding have weakened local health delivery systems.

This is another way of saying that trying to get a doctor’s appointment is like wining  the lottery. 

These are the factors behind the rise—not immigration.

🚪 Learning from COVID

The Government will not repeat the mistakes of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the entire country was forced into shutdown. Strict health standards remain in place at the border. Public safety is non-negotiable.

To claim otherwise is to spread lies and needlessly stoke public fear.

📝 The Message to the British People

We are hiding nothing. We will not allow unvaccinated populations to enter unchecked. We will not risk a repeat of national shutdowns. And we will not permit misinformation to turn neighbour against neighbour.

The outbreaks of measles and chickenpox are being addressed at home. Our priority is restoring vaccination uptake, tackling misinformation, and supporting the NHS to deliver protection for all.
