📸👮♂️💷
Two police officers, PC Steven Jones and PC Greg Tunnock, got slapped with suspensions over a supposedly “sexist” photo with singer Tallia Storm. Months later? They’ve walked away with £50,000 in payouts. And who picked up the tab? Surprise, surprise—the taxpayer. Yet again, it’s not crime being punished, it’s common sense.
🧠 Promotion Without a Clue
Here’s the absurdity: police managers leap at the chance to make an example of their own officers, but can’t even follow the rules written by their own government. They treat PR scandals like murder cases, while actual policing falls by the wayside. It begs the question—how do these managers get promoted in the first place? A raffle? A lucky dip? Or just being the last one standing after everyone else quit in frustration?
And I wonder now, looking at the people who started this circus—the managers themselves. What qualifications do they really bring to the table besides a knack for wasting money and tanking morale? If accountability ever reached their level, maybe the rest of the force wouldn’t be stuck cleaning up their blunders.
The end result: frontline cops get scapegoated, bosses dodge accountability, and the public pays for the mess. It’s not justice—it’s bureaucracy playing dress-up.
