Four Afghan nationals have been found guilty of grooming and raping a 17-year-old girl in Bristol last year. Mehrab Safi, 21, Salman Habibkheil and Awal Ahmadzai, 19, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named because of his age, plied the victim with alcohol after arranging for her travel into Bristol.

They each denied all the offences against them, claiming it had been consensual, but were found guilty by a jury at Bristol Crown Court on June 26.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Cable, the senior investigating officer, said: “These four people exploited a vulnerable young girl purely for the purposes of their own sexual gratification. They are dangerous individuals who pose a significant threat to young women and girls and gave not a single thought to the welfare of the victim.”

How long are we going to allow this to happen to British children, raped and abused by these men and a system that is failing to deal with these beasts.

People may use the excuse that white men do similar things, but that does not excuse the willingness to ignore this kind of behaviour. The fact that anyone is allowed to do this is disgusting in 2026.

We keep hearing day after day about the failures of our government to get a handle on illegal migration and this is the outcome and if they think that using the excuse of white people do it too is not acceptable.

We want to everyone who carries out these atrocious crimes punished in a way that sends a clear message, and not with excuses.
