🏦😂If you’ve ever wondered whether confidence can open doors, here’s your answer—it can apparently open the bank vault too.

A security guard reportedly walked into a Santander branch wearing an old work uniform, and staff handed over bags containing £117,000 without raising enough suspicion to stop him. Forget hacking the system; sometimes all you need is yesterday’s outfit and a straight face. 🎭💷

Hollywood spends millions creating elaborate bank robbery scenes involving lasers, explosives and high-speed chases.

Meanwhile…

“Morning.”
“Morning.”
“Here for the cash.”
“Of course you are.”

And just like that, off he went.

You almost have to admire the simplicity—not the crime itself, but the astonishing lack of questions. It’s as if the bank’s security policy was written on a Post-it note saying, ‘Looks familiar… probably fine.’ 🤦‍♂️

Banks constantly remind customers to protect themselves from fraud, challenge suspicious behaviour and never trust anyone claiming to be from the bank.
