Sometimes I genuinely wonder whether programmes like this are designed as entertainment, or simply as a convenient way of keeping the fools indoors, staring at a screen while another collection of overexposed celebrities compete for attention.
We already have celebrity dancing, celebrity cooking, celebrity jungles, celebrity travel, celebrity quizzes and celebrities interviewing other celebrities.
Apparently that still wasn’t enough.
So now we have The Box.
Perhaps the title is more honest than they intended. Put the celebrities in a box, put the viewers in front of another box, and hope nobody notices there might be something more worthwhile happening outside.
