🇬🇧🏥🤡Britain increasingly feels like a country where the priorities have been fed into a shredder and reassembled by someone wearing oven gloves.

Patients can spend hours being treated in corridors, families struggle to get GP appointments, ambulances queue outside hospitals — yet the public keeps hearing about enormous sums being spent elsewhere.

🚨Welcome to Britain: Please Take a Number and Find a Corridor

You work, pay taxes, contribute for decades and eventually need urgent medical care.

Congratulations. Your luxury suite may include a trolley, a curtain if you’re lucky, and a panoramic view of the hospital fire doors. 🏥

Meanwhile, prisoners quite rightly have to be housed, fed and cared for because even convicted criminals retain basic human rights.

And asylum seekers also have to be accommodated while their cases are processed.

But here’s where public patience snaps: when government systems appear able to organise accommodation, contracts and funding for almost everything except enough proper hospital capacity for the people already lying sick in corridors.

That doesn’t mean every migrant is enjoying champagne in a five-star spa, despite the favourite social-media shorthand. 🍾

It means taxpayers see expensive hotel accommodation being used while their own public services appear to be buckling — and they understandably ask one very simple question:

Where exactly are the priorities?

Because telling somebody whose elderly parent has spent 12 hours beside a nurses’ station that “the system is under pressure” is starting to sound less like an explanation and more like Britain’s national motto.
